North East Coast
The serenity of this so typical Zanzibar large stretch of the unspoiled white sandy beach it is only perturbed by the local fisherman and the so charming dhows. A few coral rocks down the beach add to the picturesque setting. The extremely quaint village is set in white sand and tucked away from any main roads. Less busy than the North Coast here you can experience the true Zanzibar and where, at times, you feel you might be the only person on that beach.
Visible from the shore only barely a few miles away is the exclusive island Mnemba, the islands best diving spot. The entire East Coast here is protected from the fierce waves of the Indian Ocean by a coral reef, creating big tides and spectacular scenery.

Jambiani is the largest village in Zanzibar and Zanzibar Hotel Group J2 (Grand Bungalows) is just meters away from local shops and village life. The resort is a handful of quaint bungalows situated right on the beach. The spacious bungalows are set in fine white sand and coconut-palm trees.

East Coast
